We are always looking for responsible, mature and reliable people
with a love for animals and the ability to take care of a home
and garden with particular attention to home security. Please
note: we only operate in the Brisbane metro area. You must be
prepared to follow a homeowner’s instructions, maintaining
their home and caring for their animals, as if they were your
own. You will be required to stay in the homeowner’s home
every night for the duration of the housesit.
The majority of our housesits are short term in nature, but we
do have longer term housesits from time to time.
The first step towards registering with Simply Sitting is to
complete the Housesitter Inquiry Form and forward to us. Click
here to download.
Alternatively you can phone or email us leaving a mailing address,
and we will post a copy of the form to you. Completing and returning
this form does not in any way suggest or imply that initial or
ongoing housesitting assignments will be offered to you.
Before being offered any housesitting assignments, you will need
to:
• attend an interview with Simply Sitting
• provide contact details for at least three personal referees
who can discuss in detail your ability to care for a home, garden
and animals
• provide a police check certificate (or equivalent) –
available through any Australian police station, a fee applies.
If selected to become a Simply Sitting housesitter, you will
be required to sign an agreement with Simply Sitting. This agreement
will be discussed in detail at the interview.
We will contact you when an interview needs to be arranged.
Please note: Before going to a confirmed housesit, you will need
to supply a refundable bond. There is no registration fee. |
